Ricky is a partner in the Lexington office of Turlington and Company, L.L.P.  With more than 37 years with the firm, he has served as the administrative partner and is currently a senior partner.

In addition to his firm responsibilities, Ricky’s experience and overall accounting knowledge has allowed him to work with clients in many areas.  Ricky has assisted clients with tax, estate, accounting and auditing, and merger and acquisition matters.  Ricky’s experience has made him a valuable resource to clients trying to start, grow and sustain businesses for many years.

Ricky graduated from Appalachian State University in 1973 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.  He earned the designation of Certified Public Accountant in North Carolina in May of 1983.  He is currently a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (NCACPA).

In addition to his firm and client responsibilities, Ricky is married, has four children and seven grandchildren.  He is a member of Sheets Memorial Baptist Church in Lexington.  He has also served many years as a board member of Sheets Memorial Christian School.  He has served in numerous board capacities for various civic clubs.  He currently is a board member for the Lexington Chapter of the Foundation of the Carolinas.
