Bob is a partner in the Lexington office of Turlington and Company, LLP. With more than 27 years experience in taxation, Bob serves as the tax partner for the firm.
Bob’s experience enables him to advise firm clients on a wide range of tax matters. Bob’s knowledge of individual, partnership, limited liability companies, S-Corporation and C-Corporation tax issues has been invaluable to the firm and its clients. In addition to leading the firm’s tax practice, he has assisted clients in structuring mergers and acquisitions, as well as representing clients in disputes with the Internal Revenue Service.
Bob graduated with honors from Western Carolina University in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an accounting degree. He passed the November 1981 Uniform CPA exam and was designated a Certified Public Accountant in North Carolina in July of 1983.
Bob is currently a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (NCACPA), and the NCACPA Taxation Committee.
In addition to his firm responsibilities, Bob is a devoted family man. He married his wife, Jackie, in 1985 and they reside with their three children in Lexington, NC. Bob is an active member of Macedonia United Methodist Church and Linwood Lions Club.
