Terry is a partner in the Winston-Salem office of Turlington and Company, LLP.  With more than 31 years experience in accounting and auditing, Terry serves as the accounting and auditing partner and is the designated audit partner for the ERISA employee benefit plan audit practice for the firm.

Terry’s experience has made him a valuable asset to clients on a wide variety of matters.  While Terry’s focus in the firm is on accounting and auditing, he is an exceptional tax accountant as well.  Terry has a vast knowledge of tax laws and is able to help individuals, partnerships, and corporations with a multitude of tax issues.  Terry also has experience dealing with estate taxation issues.  As the A&A partner, Terry reviews and approves all financial statements that are prepared by the firm.  His review has been critical to the success of the firm in releasing financial statements of the highest quality.

Terry graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting in 1979.  He earned the designation of Certified Public Accountant in North Carolina in March 1984.

Terry is currently a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (NCACPA).

Terry has been a valuable member to his community.  He has served a variety of roles for Family Services of Davidson County, including Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee.  He has also served as Chair of the North Davidson Middle School Advisory Council and as a member of the Lexington Kiwanis Club.  Terry is currently the Chairman of the Finance Committee for First Baptist Church of Lexington.

In addition to his firm and community roles, Terry is a dedicated husband as well as father of three children.  He is an active member of First Baptist Church of Lexington, where he serves as a Deacon.
