In Charge Auditor

Location:             Winston-Salem, NC

Our firm is seeking an energetic and motivated In Charge Auditor for our Winston-Salem office. The In Charge Auditor will work with a team that provides a range of assurance services to a diverse client base. The team’s client base includes a variety of for-profit companies and employee benefit plans, but a significant portion of the team’s assurance services are provided to not-for-profit organizations throughout North Carolina. The primary responsibilities for the In Charge Auditor will be to participate in and occasionally lead assurance engagements, ensure compliance with accounting and assurance standards, and build client relationships.

Responsibilities:

  1. Participate in and oversee the planning, execution, and completion of assurance engagements
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with firm clients
  3. Stay abreast of accounting and assurance standards relevant to the team’s engagements
  4. Assist clients with ad hoc projects on an as-needed basis
  5. Uphold the firm’s commitment to quality by adhering to professional standards, including our firm’s system of quality control
  6. Participate in firm committees based on firm needs and personal interests

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting
  2. CPA license preferred, but ability and willingness to sit for CPA exam otherwise required
  3. 2-4 years public accounting experience
  4. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  5. Knowledge of CCH Engagement a plus
  6. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  7. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize as needed

Tax Associate

Location:       Lexington, NC

 

Requirements:

  • NC CPA License.
  • 7+ years tax experience preferred.  Including individual, partnership, S corporation, corporation, non-profit and trust.
  • Experience in year end accounting work in conjunction with tax preparation including depreciation schedules and adjusting journal entries.
  • Prosystems fx tax knowledge preferred.
  • Strong analytical, oral and written communication skills.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate and work well with clients and team members.
  • Salary is based on experience.
  • Potential signing bonus and commissions
