Bennett is a partner in the Winston-Salem office of Turlington and Company, L.L.P. and has been with the firm since 1998.
Bennett’s experience has made him a valuable asset to clients on a wide variety of matters. While Bennett’s primary focus in the firm is on accounting and auditing, he has extensive tax experience as well. Bennett has a vast knowledge of tax laws and is able to help individuals, partnerships, trusts, estates, and corporations with a multitude of tax issues.
Bennett graduated from Western Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1997 and High Point University with a Masters in Business Administration in 2004. He earned the designation of Certified Public Accountant in North Carolina in February 2004.
Bennett is currently a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (NCACPA).
Bennett has been an active member in his community. He has served as Treasurer for the Davidson County Education Foundation, as well as a member of the Finance Committee of Shiloh United Methodist Church, and as a member of the Twin City Kiwanis Club. Currently, Bennett is the Treasurer and Chairman of the Finance Committee of the Twin City Kiwanis Club in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
In addition to his role in the firm and his community activities, Bennett is quite devoted to his family. He and his wife, Milenda, live in Lexington and have two children. Bennett and Milenda attend Shiloh United Methodist Church in Lexington.
